Budgeting and Controlling Manager

We are looking for a Budgeting And Controlling Manager (report to Deputy CFO). In this role, your key responsibility will be to perform budgeting of R&D projects.
Tasks
- Perform technical budgeting of R&D projects under strict deadlines
- Update budgets and forecast future cash flows
- Draft policies, regulations, and methodological manuals for budgeting
- Generate plan/actual analytical reports and investigate deviations
- Control budget execution at all levels: contract, project, business unit, department, legal entity, group of companies
- Automate budgeting and controlling processes
- Prepare projects’ cost estimate documentation and financial models and develop the calculation methodology
- Update Company’s financial model and evaluate business scenarios
Requirements
- Know the principles of technical budgeting and project evaluation
- Have hand-on experience in budgeting automation using ERP systems and Excel
- Have experience in building budget models and project models from scratch using Excel with different levels of consolidation (projects/business units/legal entities)
- Know financial and variance analysis techniques
- Know how to work with large volumes of data
- Know how to visualize the results of calculations and analyses in PowerPoint or other software
- Are an Excel guru and have experience with BI systems; programming skills will be an advantage
- Have a higher mathematical/technical/economic education (preferably HSE, MSU, BMSTU)
- Communicate in English without much difficulty (Upper-Intermediate and higher)
