Now we are looking for a Project Management Officer to be a vital member of the team that develops our core methodologies.
In this role, your key goal will be to establishing and conducting the company-wide, standardized program and project steering processes and appropriate toolset, including agile methods applicable to an R&D environment (“the PM Framework”)
Tasks
- Establishing and maintaining the long-term roadmaps, centralized resource plan and budgeting. Working closely with the program and project managers to set goals and milestones and to assess their completion (“the PM operations”).
- Establishing and maintaining centralized reporting processes with top management and internal and external stakeholders (“the PM operations”).
- Preparing, maintaining, and operating scenario planning for senior management, balancing deliverables, workload, budget, and quality requirements.
- Working closely with the project, program, and line managers to set detailed and measurable goals and milestones and assess their completion.
- Demonstrating personal and organizational integrity by example, addressing deviations in planning and execution.
Additional tasks
- Orchestrating and maintaining a standardized project management ecosystem using commercial tools.
- Orchestrating the migration of all processes to a new environment. Coaching management and employees.
- Managing the project management process, creating transparent communication within the team and between different groups.
- Developing training for the team regarding project management methodology to improve the team's level.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the area of the automotive industry, aerospace, optics, mechanical engineering, or semiconductor (European, Asian, US) is a key requirement.
- Higher technical education (specialization in any area of our R&D: mechanical engineering, instrumentation engineering, optical systems, software).
- Technological literacy.
- Proven operational experience of agile methodologies in a corporate setting.
- 8+ years of experience in managing product development or R&D projects.
- English language at the level of advanced (C1) and above, German is beneficial to your in-depth work with our clients and supply chain.
- Professional knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- PMI certification.
- Ability to work with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira, etc.) or similar.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
